Transforming Wood into One-of-a-Kind Rustic Art

Every carving is designed with the individual project in mind. Whether you're looking to transform an old tree stump into a unique landscape feature, create a custom totem pole, commission a free-standing sculpture, or add a rustic focal point to your property, Carve2 works closely with you to bring your ideas to life.

Using chainsaws, grinders, gouges, and traditional carving techniques, each piece is crafted to preserve the natural texture and personality of the wood. Rather than producing highly polished, machine-like finishes, Carve2 embraces a rustic carving style that highlights the craftsmanship, grain patterns, and organic qualities that make every project unique.

Located at 7779 US 12, Onsted, MI 49265, Carve2 proudly serves homeowners, businesses, and property owners throughout Southeast Michigan and surrounding areas.

Why Custom Wood Carvings Matter

A custom wood carving creates more than visual interest—it tells a story. Unlike mass-produced decorations, every carving is created from a unique piece of wood and designed around the customer's vision.

Wood naturally contains character through its grain, knots, shape, and history. Skilled carving reveals those features while transforming the material into something meaningful and lasting. Whether displayed in a garden, business entrance, hunting property, campground, cabin, or residential landscape, a custom carving becomes a conversation piece that reflects personality and creativity.

Many customers choose wood carvings to commemorate special memories, honor family traditions, showcase wildlife themes, celebrate outdoor lifestyles, or create distinctive landmarks on their property. The result is artwork that cannot be duplicated because no two pieces of wood are exactly alike.

Stump Carvings

An old tree stump doesn't have to remain an eyesore in your yard. Carve2 specializes in turning suitable tree stumps into custom works of art.

Before carving begins, the stump is evaluated for stability, root condition, and overall suitability. Customers are responsible for having the stump cut to the desired height prior to the project start date.

Stump carvings are a popular way to preserve the memory of a tree while adding a unique focal point to a landscape.
